Welcome to Natyam: School of Dance. By enrolling yourself or your child in our classes and programs, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- “School,” “We,” “Us,” “Our” refers to Natyam: School of Dance.
- “Student,” “You,” “Your” refers to the individual enrolled in our classes or programs, or their parent/guardian if the student is a minor.
- “Classes” refers to all dance classes, workshops, courses, and programs offered by Natyam: School of Dance, including online and offline formats.
- “Fees” refers to all charges for tuition, registration, and any other services provided by the School.
2. Registration and Fees
- One-Time Registration Fee: A non-refundable one-time registration fee of INR 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) is charged per student during their first month of enrollment. This fee applies to all students, regardless of the class format (group, private, online, offline).
- Tuition Fees: Tuition fees for classes are due by 7th of every month basis, as communicated at the time of enrollment.
- Non-Refundable Fees: All fees paid to Natyam: School of Dance, including tuition and registration fees, are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal from classes, non-attendance, or discontinuation of service by the student.
- Fee Structure Changes: The School reserves the right to revise its fee structure at any time. Students will be notified of any changes with reasonable advance notice.
3. Class Attendance and Make-Up Policy
- Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled classes.
- Missed Classes: In the event of a missed class, irrespective of its format (group, private, online, or offline), the class fee is not carried forward or refunded.
- Make-Up Classes:
- It is the student’s responsibility to cover any missed class within the same calendar month by coordinating directly with their instructor.
- Make-up classes are subject to instructor availability and mutual agreement.
- No class carry-forward to the next month or subsequent months is permitted.
- Notification of Absence:
- For any planned absence from a scheduled class, students (or their parents/guardians) must inform the instructor at least two (2) hours prior to the commencement of the class.
- For absences exceeding 15 consecutive days, students (or their parents/guardians) must inform the instructor and the School administration at least fifteen (15) days in advance. Failure to provide timely notification may impact eligibility for make-up classes within the same month.
4. Code of Conduct
- Students are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow students.
- Any form of bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to suspension or termination of enrollment without refund.
- Students must adhere to the instructions of their teachers for safety and effective learning.
- All female students are instructed to wear black kurta, pajama with red dupatta.
- All male students are instructed to wear white kurta, pajama/dhoti with red dupatta.
5. Health and Safety
- Students are responsible for informing the School of any existing medical conditions, injuries, or allergies that may affect their participation in dance classes.
- The School is not liable for any injuries sustained during classes or on the School premises due to a student’s negligence or pre-existing conditions not disclosed.
- In case of a medical emergency, the School reserves the right to seek medical attention for the student and the parent/guardian will be responsible for all associated costs.
6. Photography and Videography
- The School may take photographs or videos of students during classes, performances, or events for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, brochures).
- By enrolling, you grant Natyam: School of Dance permission to use such media unless you provide written objection at the time of registration.
7. Intellectual Property
- All choreography, teaching methods, and curriculum materials provided by Natyam: School of Dance are the intellectual property of the School and its instructors.
- Students are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or teaching this material without explicit written consent from the School.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
- The School provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Natyam: School of Dance, its instructors, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your enrollment or participation in our classes.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
- Natyam: School of Dance reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Your continued enrollment after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Specify City, e.g., New Delhi, Delhi].
